Tasheen Rahimtoola, the 30-year-old founder of Taste Retreat, is no stranger to curating gourmet experiences and creating engaging content for her 100k+ followers. However, in the past few months, it’s been weddings galore. A quick scroll through her Instagram shows her hopping from one extravagant destination wedding to the next, effortlessly switching from modern maharani to mob-wife bridesmaid. So, what does a girl wear to all these weddings? Hint: glamorous but lightweight lehengas are her go-to. Here’s the lowdown on her wedding-ready looks:
Wed count: “I’ve honestly lost count! This season has been a whirlwind of love, laughter and a personal lookbook. From Tuscany to Phuket, Bahrain to Jamnagar, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and even Cannes, each wedding was magical. The common thread? Big energy, jaw-dropping venues, and an absurd number of outfit changes—not that I’m complaining!"

Dress codes: “When it comes to wedding dressing, I love pushing boundaries and switching things up depending on the mood and the moment.
A wedding in Tuscany pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way. The theme was ‘mob wife energy,’ so I went all in with a leopard-print catsuit. Bold, sleek and unapologetically powerful, the kind of outfit you second-guess before stepping out but love every second after.

At another wedding, I embraced my love for lehengas. My Anamika Khanna was the perfect blend of heritage and modernity. The exquisite embroidery, paired with rich Banarasi silk, gave it a timeless, elegant feel that matched my personal style.
Both looks were custom-made, each ideal for its respective moment—one striking and fearless, the other a tribute to tradition and elegance."

In my clutch: “A lip balm ALWAYS—right now, I’m hooked on the Indē wild DLT and a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick (non-negotiable). Other than this? Honestly, I’m just a girl, so the usual—mints, safety pins, band-aids, my MagSafe, and of course, a mini Jo Malone because smelling good is seriously underrated.”
Pro tip: "Weddings are a full-on sport. Between dancing, outfit changes and fully committing to the buffet (as one should), your outfit needs to be your best teammate, not your worst enemy. If you can’t move, groove and demolish a slice (or two, or three) of cake without regretting your life choices, it’s not the one."
