New York, London, Milan, Paris…and now Lakmé Fashion Week—it’s all finally over! On Wednesday night, the shows kicked off with Akaaro and Anavila at The Kunj, Delhi’s new craft hotspot. (If you haven’t visited already, you must. The Nod’s fashion editor Butool Jamal came back obsessed with Pieux’s pieces at the Jiyo store.) As usual, there were hits—Gen Next designer 23°N 69°E, Abraham & Thakore, SWGT, Til, Naushad Ali, all showing clothes we would love to wear. And there were misses—but, as they say, if you can’t say something nice… We caught up with some very glamorous faces from the front row at Shantnu Nikhil, and Tarun Tahiliani closed the week with a sparkling show featuring corsets, pre-draped saris, and hybrid gowns.
Amongst all this, Kylie Jenner announced the return of King Kylie (the ones who know, know) with a King Kylie-era-inspired Kylie Cosmetics drop slated for October 18. Anyone looking to dress up as the lip kit mogul circa 2015 this Halloween? This one’s for you.
