The Met Gala is about to kick off (early tomorrow in IST!) and it’s all we’re obsessing about in The Nod office. In case you’re still unclear about this year’s theme and the red carpet dress code, check out our easy explainer.

Before that, a quick recap of what went down over the weekend. Isha Ambani kicked off her weekend in NYC in an updated bandage dress by Manish Malhotra; everyone had feelings about The Devil Wears Prada 2; and the Burberry store in Mumbai hosted the launch of what’s looking to be the swimwear drop of the summer—a collaboration between the British heritage brand and London-based label Hunza G. Originally founded in the 1980s and relaunched in 2015, Hunza G is the name behind the iconic blue and white cutout dress that Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman (1990). What makes their swimwear unique is the proprietary crinkled fabric, a Lyrca and elastane combination that allows their pieces to stretch and contract seamlessly for a one-size-fits-all approach. The collaboration with Burberry includes classic one-piece suits but also tube skirts and bikini sets in the brand’s classic monotone colours, all edged with the Burberry check. So, if you’re prepping for your next beach vacation, you know what needs to be on your packing list.
