Milan and Paris, it’s almost your time to shine because London Fashion Week officially ends today. The action in the British capital isn’t dwindling down on the last day, quite the opposite in fact because Lovebirds is set to make its debut on the schedule at 11 am BST. Her versions in either tomato red, white or black came at a full, ballgown length but with a ruched hem to create a playful, bubble silhouette. Meanwhile, British label Chopova Lowena sent four-legged models walking the runway—dogs in brat green puffer jackets, goggles and cyberpunk protective gear—as part of a collaboration with Lloyds Bank to raise awareness about insuring pets.
This LFW also saw the homecoming of Alexander McQueen; the brand has been showing in Paris for 25 years now. Creative Seán McGirr presented an otherworldly collection of eveningwear and to that end, models walked wearing giant Maleficent-esque horns dipped in silver. Do I predict a Halloween trend brewing?
