Whew, what a week it’s been! Milan Fashion Week, which began last Tuesday, finally comes to a close today. We had Dhruv Kapoor’s co-ed show, which updated foundational wardrobe pieces, and Demna’s Gucci debut to kick things off. But Demna wasn’t the only one with an inventive show format this season. Diesel staged an egg hunt pre-show, and the first five to spot all 55 looks all over Milan won a free outfit from the spring 2026 collection. Sunnei founders Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina put up a fake auction in collaboration with Christie’s, after which they announced their departure from the brand. Among debuts. Simone Bellotti’s first collection for Jil Sander was crisp, clean, and considered, while Louise Trotter’s debut for Bottega Veneta was a textural fever dream—leather fringe, Intrecciato leather, and some fantastic fibreglass needle skirts and tops that swayed with every movement. Dario Vitale, meanwhile, showcased a divisive but very colourful Versace show inspired by the ’80s, which was really fun to look at.

Bras were everywhere: peeking through dresses and tops at Jil Sander and Prada (though Raf Simons insisted they weren’t bras and Mrs Prada called them “useless bras” backstage), bejewelled and backless at Versace (Addison Rae has already worn it onstage), in the form of a dragonfly at Blumarine, and in lace at The Attico. We even had Meryl Streep cosplaying as Miranda Priestly at the D&G show. And across the pond, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got hitched in custom Ralph Lauren!

While we wait to see what Paris Fashion Week has in store for us (Jonathan Anderson at Dior, Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga, Matthieu Blazy at Chanel), catch up on stories you may have missed on The Nod:
