The men’s autumn/winter 2026 shows are underway. One of the internet’s two current boyfriends from Heated Rivalry, Hudson Williams, made his runway debut opening the Dsquared2 show in Milan, which coincidentally (and very conveniently) had a winter sports theme. A nice warm-up act for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which will take place in Italy next month.
On Saturday, Dolce & Gabbana made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The show, despite being titled ‘Portrait of a Man’, had an entirely white cast of models. Fashion commentator Lyas made a Reel about the lack of diversity at the show (“Not one single Asian, not one single dark-skinned model…”), under which none other than Bella Hadid commented: “Shocked people actually support this company still it’s embarrassing... Models / stylists/ casting the whole damn thing.” It’s not the first time D&G has found itself in hot water for such a thing. In the past, the designers have faced criticism for a racially insensitive campaign that showcased an Asian model struggling to eat Italian food with chopsticks (which led to the cancellation of their Shanghai show), discriminatory comments against gay adoption and IVF, amongst other questionable things over the years. You live, but you don’t learn. Hope no one bothers spelling Gabbana correctly in the future.
In other news, Tarun Tahiliani celebrated 30 years of being in business and being fabulous at it with a big show in Hyderabad. Read Shahnaz Siganporia’s chat with TT, Sheree Gomes Gupta’s interview with people over 50 who are super into running, and more below.
