This weekend in Los Angeles, Priyanka Chopra Jonas stepped onto the Gold House Gala carpet in a stunning custom creation by Amit Aggarwal. The gown, made from a 20-year-old chikankari sari, was reworked into a modern silhouette and embroidered by hand over a month and a half by women artisans in India.
If you would like to see some more compelling Fashion with a capital F, I urge you to check out our May cover story featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, where The Nod’s stylist Naheed Driver puts her in the most breathtaking selection of current-season looks, including Aggarwal’s new take on the quasi-naked dress, two embellished Krésha Bajaj looks, and a David Koma blouse that might make one green with envy.
In terms of things to look forward to, this Wednesday (in Los Angeles again) is Dior’s cruise 2027 show (Jonathan Anderson’s cruise debut!). While we wait to see what unfolds on the runway, below, things to catch up with on The Nod.
