While each brand immersed guests in its own universe, there was one tiny token that seemed to link them all: a soft, poofy explosion of a corsage pinned near the collar. At Gucci’s Clavicular-coded show, there was a double-breasted suit finished with a bundle of feathery flower petals pinned to the lapel. At Chanel too, one of the brand’s iconic twinset skirt suits was accented with a mini firework of fabric in black. Dior leaned heavily into the trend with a veritable garden of handcrafted fabric flowers—giant California poppies, drooping lily of the valley, ombré-dyed carnations.
