The week’s only just begun, but having spent most of my weekend raiding the fabric shops of Khar in Mumbai, at the tailor’s shop, and attending an engagement party, I’m already exhausted. It seems like everyone around me is getting married, about to get married, or thinking about popping the question to their significant other. Naturally, this has got everyone in my friend group thinking about what they’re going to wear to the many weddings or wedding-adjacent events that are plaguing our calendars.
Events like The Wedding Collective are always helpful. But if you’ve got a low-key roka ceremony on your schedule this week, perhaps something from our edit of fashion-girl-approved festive pieces might be of interest. Or you could always pair something you already have in your wardrobe with an unexpected accessory.
And if weddings aren’t your jam, you can treat yourself to a Singles’ Day sale to feel something! I’ve got my eyes on a bunch of beauty essentials from Sephora and this cuddle-friendly slouchy bag from Charles & Keith that’s 30 per cent off.
Below, why white lehengas are all the rage right now, the kind of It bag that’s worth the investment, and more from The Nod.
