When she’s not busy at her day job, Los Angeles based Nicole Mehta is creating content, attending weddings and influencing away. Recent celebrations have spanned the globe from Goa to Georgia, with a series of multi-cultural festivities allowing her to experiment with a variety of traditional looks. Her wedding guest wardrobe may be versatile, extending from glittery monochromes to floral prints and embroidered panelled lehengas–but her style stays consistently chic and extremely covetable. Here’s how she does it:
Wed count: “7 weddings in Goa, Cancun, Mexico, 2 weddings in Istanbul, Los Angeles, Detroit and Atlanta.”
Wedding guest style: “I love experimenting when it comes to fashion and when it comes to weddings, I definitely love leaning more into exploring new colours while making sure I'm still comfortable in what I'm wearing. Depending on the function, I don't like to overdo it with too much jewellery and usually let the outfits speak for itself and breathe on its own.”
Dress codes: “The weddings I've been to have been a blend of religions and cultures, so I've been able to style a variety of looks with gowns, saris and lehengas. I’ve worn them in everything from jewel tones and all whites to chromes and all blacks.”
