(No, it’s not just because Halloween is around the corner). Particularly, Makeup by Mario’s creamy eyeshadow in the shade ‘Slate’, which is being hailed as the perfect neutral slate to build up a darker smoky eye for the festive season. Or, if you’re brave enough, just embrace a single swipe of the colour as it is to make your eyes pop.
This isn’t an anomaly; grey is certainly having a moment in the beauty-verse since earlier this year, when grey liquid blush from Nuse, a South Korean brand, was doing the rounds. It was being mixed with intensely pigmented pink shades to cool it off and make it more wearable. Would we have imagined adding grey to our makeup routines a few years ago? Probably not. But as trends go, nothing is off the table.
