The long weekend is around the corner. And if you have been frantically clearing your inbox and crossing off to-dos, and haven’t planned your laptop-free three days, we have some suggestions. Unless, of course, you are the kind of person who says “no plans yet” but somehow ends up booked solid.

Option one: Commit to the art of doing absolutely nothing. Cancel plans, claim a corner, and sink into a book. You can pick from the Nelio Biedermann’s Hungarian epic Lázár or follow the story of corruption and tragedy in London in Patrick Radden Keefe’s London Falling.

Option two: If you haven’t started watching Imperfect Women (Apple TV+), now’s the perfect time to dive in. The gripping mystery thriller drops its finale today – we hear it’s chilling – so you can binge it all without the wait. And, of course, don’t miss the The Devil Wears Prada 2, bringing Anne Hathway and Meryl Streep together again.

Option three (and this is our favourite): Pick a direction, any direction, and get out of the city. Hills, beaches, random road trips, all goes.
