Now that the Primetime Emmy Awards are over, do you have a new watchlist to accommodate all that’s somehow skipped your attention? We suggest that you come up with one right now. We’ve seen enough of Matthew Rhys on the red carpet admiring the gorgeous black Khaite dress that wife Keri Russell wore, seen him answer all those questions about sparring with his actor wife (who was also nominated for playing the harried diplomat in…The Diplomat), but spare a thought for Rhys’s co-star, the wonderful Kate O’Flynn, who played Patricia in Widow’s Bay (she won Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series). Watch Task for Tom Pelphrey (who won Supporting Actor in a Drama Series), but watch it for Mark Ruffalo too. If you somehow stopped watching Pluribus midway through E3, maybe Rhea Seehorn’s win will inspire you to go back? September’s turning out to be quite the culture-packed month—there’s also the Booker Prize shortlist out next week. How many of the 13 longlisted novels have you read and are hoping will make it to the shortlist? (PS: Reading Emma Cline’s Switzy on a midnight flight is the most surreal experience ever.)
