From teddy chairs to glass forests, ID Mumbai has it all

India Design Mumbai returns this weekend and is set to pose a problem of plenty for every design lover. Picture your Pinterest board springing to life with aisles of furniture, decor, lighting, and art objects, alongside gourmet pop-ups and cultural showcases. One of the most playful highlights is Karan Desai’s Monster collection with Dimensions, complete with that plush paw-footed armchair that feels more like a hug than a seat. Beyond cutesy monsters, there are whimsical finds, like Klove Studio's glass mushrooms from their Enchanted Forest collection and Atelier Ashiesh Shah’s sculptural objects rooted in craft and geometry. With over 120 brands and immersive showcases, this edition makes design feel exciting, playful, and endlessly inspiring. —Sheya Kurian

ID Mumbai will be on at Jio World Garden, BKC, Mumbai, from September 26 to 28

Fly me to the moon…with a pint in hand

If sipping cold beer on tap is getting a bit monotonous, try sipping it at a popping bar while a space journalist yaps on about the moon. That is exactly what happened at Pint of View.

For their fifth edition in Bengaluru, they’re handing the mic to Jatan Mehta, the guy behind Moon Monday, aka the world’s only blog and newsletter dedicated to covering lunar exploration by countries worldwide. He’s here to answer some burning questions: Why did it take us decades to revisit the moon? What makes the moon different from Mars? And what’s India cooking up for its newest space mission? So, whether you’re a space junkie, an Orbital fangirl or just down to trying something different this weekend, your Sunday plans are sorted. —Muskan Kaur

‘Pint of View (Lecture 5): ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ will take place on September 28, 2025, at Jamming Goat 3.0, Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Tickets available here

For the boys who need a festive fit

Men, it’s your moment: new stores across India have just dropped the kind of pieces that’ll actually make you look forward to dressing up this season. Gully Labs’ new flagship in Delhi is a three-floor playground: shoes and streetwear on the ground level, a Subko coffee counter and sneaker customisation zone upstairs, plus a baithak for communal events and gatherings on the top floor. Their new Shahi collection, which puts a modern spin on mojaris and Kolhapuris, is perfect for anyone who wants to be festive-ready without looking like they tried too hard.

Next stop: Kolkata. The city finally gets its first Kunal Rawal store, a terracotta-fronted heritage bungalow on Ballygunge Circular Road that also houses the new World of KR line, ideal for layering through celebration season.

And in suburban Mumbai, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna have recently unveiled a black-marble-clad minimalist temple to tailoring and luxe fabrics that brings their A/W ’25 festive collection into the spotlight. —Chloe Chou

Gully Labs: 14, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi 110017

Kunal Rawal: Biswas House, P-19, Old Ballygunge Rd, Ballygunge Park, Kolkata 700019

Your favourite K-beauty lip balms just got an upgrade

This week, Laneige has dropped not one, not two, but three new limited-edition lip products. Pink Supernova and Milkyway are the new shimmer-infused Lip Glowy Balms: swipe them solo for a soft glow or layer over your lipstick for extra sparkle and hydration. And for Lip Sleeping Mask devotees, the new Strawberry Shortcake edition is a triple-tiered treat you almost don’t want to dig into because of how cute the pot looks: fresh berry, strawberry cream, and vanilla cake stacked in satisfying layers. Basically, your lips get a glow-up and a snack attack all at once. —Chloe Chou

Art takes over of the capital

Clear your calendars, Delhi, because from October 3 to 12 the city will basically turn into one giant gallery. It’s 10 days of hopping across the most popular hotspots in Delhi, soaking up everything from photography you’ve never seen before to installations that’ll make you stop, stare, and immediately start taking pics of. There is, for instance, a pottery-meets-fashion collab between Aura Pottery and Duja, alongside exhibits by photographers like Avani Rai and Aviva Baig and multidisciplinary artists like Sajid Wajid Shaikh. Plus, live music, and a little bit of shopping. Like, does it get better?
