Crayons for adults? Not the kind you’re thinking of. Brazilian-Lebanese fine jewellery designer Nadine Ghosn recently launched her newest collection, Color-FULL, in collaboration with art supply maker Crayola. What it offers is an interpretation of the childhood favourite wax crayon as an 18-carat rose-, yellow-, or white-gold bangle with a tapered stone tip, all handcrafted in Italy. Designed to be worn individually or stacked on the wrist, each bracelet can be personalised with your colour of choice and you can have your name engraved in the signature Crayola font. This one's a range designed strictly for adults.
Ghosn shared that she was inspired to create this adorable piece after borrowing some children’s crayons and colouring books to pass the time on a flight after her phone battery gave up (of course). From her viral Veggie Burger Ring (2016) made of layered bands of diamonds, rubies, and sapphires to Beyonce’s favourite earrings that spell out the words ‘Shut up’, we’re loving Ghosn’s ability to bring whimsy and creativity to the everyday.
