‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ season 2 on Netflix

If you’re over the Belly-Jeremiah-Conrad triangle, watch season two of My Life with the Walter Boys. Nikki Rodriguez returns as Jackie Howard, the Manhattan transplant torn between Colorado ranch life and her old world, while Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry reprise their roles as the Walter brothers competing for her heart. It’s angsty teenage turmoil at its best, proving that sometimes the heart wants what it wants, even when it does not know what that is.

‘King & Conqueror’ on JioHotstar

It’s England in the year 1066, and William the Conqueror’s Norman forces clash with Harold Godwinson’s Anglo-Saxon army in a battle for the history books. If you like Game of Thrones (Jamie Lannister is in it!) with a little Wolf Hall and lots of bloody fighting thrown in, this can be your next binge watch. BBC1’s new offering takes on The Battle of Hastings, one of the most pivotal moments in medieval Europe, an era that is quite infrequently immortalised in fiction.

‘Songs of Paradise’ on Prime Video

Saba Azad and Soni Razdan play the part of Kashmir's first prominent playback singer Raj Begum across ages in director Danish Renzu’s film. It’s a tribute to the life and work of the Padma Shri awardee known as the Melody Queen of Kashmir in an India of another era. Think biopic with a side of feminism and a whole lotta drama.
