Last night at the 82nd Golden Globes Awards, Ayo Edebiri swapped an evening gown for a tailored grey suit with a 14-k gold dipped feather tie by Loewe. Styled by Danielle Goldberg (who also works with Greta Lee), the custom look was a nod to the iconic oversized grey suit Julia Roberts wore to the 1990 Golden Globes 35 years ago. “I was so excited to get to collaborate with Jonathan Anderson and the Loewe team on this look, and with my stylist, Danielle Goldberg. I felt really inspired by the costumes [Anderson] designed for Luca Guadagnino’s film Queer, and loved the idea of playing around with menswear—especially with a suit that felt of that era,” Edebiri told Vogue ahead of the event. The actor was nominated in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series—Musical or Comedy for her portrayal of chef Sydney in The Bear.
