The bag brand you didn’t know you needed to know

Ahikoza is having a major moment. Spotted not once but twice at the Bezos-Sánchez wedding (on bride Lauren Sánchez and also on Khloe Kardashian), the Indian label’s bags are everywhere and on everyone. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise; their minimalist minaudières and clutches have been plus-ones at many a high-profile event in the past (including the Oscars, the Grammys, and the Met Gala). Founded in 2016 by Namrata Karad, the brand embodies quiet luxury (no logos here) and is inspired by geometry and sculptural shapes. And although they’re a red-carpet favourite, the pieces match your Sunday brunch outfit, too. Impeccably crafted and lowkey, somewhat affordable, and something that can surely be passed down to your kids. Some might call this true luxury. —Aashi Doshi

The cookbook that’ll make you miss your Ammi

Ig (2).jpg

Ever wondered what happens when a fashionista opens her family recipe box? You get Ammi’s Kitchen. The book is Pernia Qureshi’s delightful and delicious tribute to the women who taught her that food is love (and legacy). Inspired by her unstoppable grandmother, Ammi, who started a food business at 90 (!), this cookbook brings you the rich, fragrant world of Rampur’s cuisine—full of slow-cooked kormas, kebabs, and stories that simmer with emotion. Warm and nostalgic, Ammi’s Kitchen is a celebration of grandmothers, good food, and the magic of passing things on.—Sheya Kurian

Matcha addicts, sneakerheads, and vintage enthusiasts unite

This weekend, All You Can returns to the Jio World Convention Centre with the energy of a streetwear carnival, the chaos of a souk, and the biggest matcha bar in the country (powered by Glow Glossary). Launched as an alternative to the rinse-repeat model of pop-ups, AYC has quietly grown into one of the most exciting underground shopping events—and this edition is its most unhinged yet.

There’s a mini Chor Bazaar in the middle of BKC; a basketball court at the centre of the venue; a tunnel installation by Aaquib Wani; exclusive sneaker drops from Comet and Fila; and a Diesel after-party that promises to bathe everything in red light with a set by Baddie Juice. “You shop, you grab something to eat and drink, you get a matcha, you run into a founder of a brand you admire, you take photos at the photo-ops, you go to Chor Bazaar,” says co-founder Abhishek Gandhi. “Our retention is sexy—touch wood.”

The real draw, though, might be UP NEXT, a platform within the platform that throws the spotlight on brands AYC thinks deserve more attention, including Our Own Pace and Kill Your Dreams. “We just give them the space and the setup. They come in and do their thing. People are kind of sleeping on them, and we want to wake them up.”

If you’re looking for a limited-edition sneaker, a crush, a cortado, a collab, or just an overstimulating Saturday or Sunday, you’ll find it here. Gandhi puts it best: “We want people to walk in and be like, shit, what’s gonna happen?” —Chloe Chou

All You Can is on from July 4 to 6, 2025. Address: Jio World Convention Centre, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Tickets available on district.in

Tiny, tasty and totally K-drama approved

You got a fast car…and glasses to match?

We’re watching and breathing F1 racing, so why not dress like you’re meant to sit behind the wheel of a really fast car? Maybach—the iconic German car maker—has brought its merch onto Indian shelves with a new flagship store in Bengaluru’s swanky Phoenix Mall of Asia.

On the racks are quilted jackets fit for Toto Wolff, leather goods like belts, wallets and bags, and plenty of eyewear. But these aren’t factory-made, mass-produced shades. Every single pair is handcrafted in Germany, combining natural buffalo horn, fine woods, carbon fibre, or titanium with 18-carat gold—and sometimes even diamonds, if you’re feeling you’ve got some extra cash on hand. Each piece is built in-house with the same precision you’d expect from a luxury car, minus the engine, of course. And with top-tier Zeiss lenses, your vision will be as sharp as your look. —Aditi Veer

Lip balm of the summer, anyone?

prada resized.jpg

Eagle-eyed beauty fiends recently spotted a new thing to obsess over. A little Easter egg tucked away in Sabrina Carpenter’s “song of the summer”, ‘Manchild’, which they speculated to be a mysterious new Prada lip product. It was soon revealed to be a new variant of the popular balm, in Banana Yellow. With perfect timing, Prada Beauty has also landed in Delhi with its first beauty store at Nexus Select CityWalk Mall. We know all the beauty girlies are going to be lining up for skincare, perfumes, makeup—and those viral lip balms—outside the minty green store.

Looks like mahjong’s moved out of the game room

8N4A01533.jpg

What do you get when three women in Mumbai start looking for a fourth mahjong player? Apparently, a full-blown movement. The Mahjong Network has quietly grown into a WhatsApp-powered scene that’s now popping up everywhere—from south Mumbai homes to Delhi cafés, and even Dubai. Think 600-plus members, neighbourhood-based games, and mahjong brunches. The crowd? A mix of grannies, Gen Zs, fashion peeps, and content creators—all showing up for the game, and maybe a little gossip too.—Muskan Kaur
