Happy 2026! It looks like the year is off to a good start. Zohran Mamdani wore a custom Kartik Research Assamese eri silk tie for his inauguration, Jonathan Anderson’s first collections for Dior have hit stores, and Moira Rose’s favourite season (awards, duh!) has begun. At the Critics Choice Awards last night, there were plenty of nice suits and dresses, but Megan Stalter and Paul W Downs’s (Hacks) ode to Timothée and Kylie stole the show. Can’t wait for Marty Supreme to hit theatres in India, but I’ve got to admit I’m sick of seeing that orange everywhere. The Golden Globes are on Jan 11—hope someone has some fun on the red carpet!

A new year brings the opportunity (or an inkling, at least) to start anew. If you’re thinking of a wardrobe refresh, we’ve got some fun stories to inspire you: Animal print, it seems, is having a resurgence. The person most excited about it is clearly Hailey Bieber, who’s been sporting wild prints all season (tiger, leopard, cow!) along with a matching cheetah manicure. In fact, she also spent the holidays in a vintage Roberto Cavalli animal-print monokini. Below, our fashion editor Butool Jamal asks some cool people how they’re styling the trend. Also, the very stylish Suresh Singh (aka the Cockney Sikh) talks to Tanya Mehta about his eccentric personal style; Shweta Kapur’s 431-88 has finally launched bridalwear (but it’s not what you’re imagining); and finally, a first-person report on a buzzy (and bougie) new exosome treatment by yours truly. It’s time to lock in!
