For as long as memory serves, my festive fervour has found its most eloquent expression at the table. Long before the lamps are lit or the laddoos served, I am drawn—almost ritualistically—to arranging glass, brass, linen, and clay, each piece its own little ambassador of celebration.

As an interiors stylist, the table, to me, isn’t just furniture; it’s theatre. A stage where families gather, stories ricochet across generations, and the incandescent spirit of Diwali finds its stage. For Trumatter, my design practice, I spend an unhealthy amount of time online, looking for interesting new finds to spruce up my space.

Every year, the marketplace of Indian craft introduces me to new finds outside the borders of Maharashtra, where I’m based. And this year is no different. There’s the delicate charm of Khanoom Jaipur’s hand-moulded ceramics, the jewel-toned brilliance of Glass Forest’s glassware, and the sculptural gravitas of Atelier Laal Mitti. Terravida Goa brings earthen elegance with a wink for the contemporary aesthete, while Rhea Kapoor’s collaboration with Topp Brass reinvents heritage metalwork with cinematic flair. Add to this the architectural minimalism of Rayt, and what you end up with isn’t just a table—it’s also a symphony of texture, light, and effortless panache.

Below is my curated compendium—13 singular pieces that promise to make your Diwali table not merely gleam but also sparkle with personality.
