It’s May 4—and this year, it’s not just Star Wars Day. Today happens to be the first Monday in May (or Tuesday, depending on where you’re placed on the globe), which means the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s costume benefit is in full swing. While this year’s Costume Art exhibition examines fashion as an embodied art form, the dress code is simply ‘Fashion is Art’.
Sounds easy enough? Below, The Nod team’s thoughts on the live action unfolding on the cobblestone carpet.

A pretty lowkey look by Hadid was this Miu Miu gown that she collaged with the Miu Miu team herself. Another naked dress added to our list.
