One motif, infinite ways to wear it. The opening night for the Bvlgari Serpenti Infinito exhibition was a display of all the myriad interpretations of the iconic snake. Whether it was Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s high-wattage Serpenti Maharani Secret necklace encrusted with a 109 carat cabochon rubellite (detachable of course, should you want to wear the necklace on its own or turn the stone into a pin), the more classic Serpenti Tubogas watch that Mrunal Thakur had wrapped around her wrist, or the chic Serpenti Forever bag that Sara Tendulkar carried like a prized arm candy, the evening was an homage to this timeless motif.

The red carpet looks were just some interpretations of the snake, or naga, that was on display over the course of the evening where mythology, jewellery, and contemporary art came together. Curated by Nature Morte and envisioned by artistic director Sean Anderson, the exhibition journeyed through three chapters—historic, contemporary, and transformative—showcasing everything from ancient 17th century tantric texts and sculptures by artists such as Subodh Gupta and Bharti Kher to the latest high jewellery creations—all linked by the universal form of the serpent.

Not to miss was an immersive experience, ‘Infinito: AI Data Sculpture’ by Turkish-American artist Refik Anadol, a three-dimensional AI-powered dynamic installation set within a 360-degree mirrored room. The exhibition spans across the Art House at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and guests at the opening night included Nita Mukesh Ambani, Isha Ambani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty, and Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin among others experienced the works of over 23 Indian and international artists alongside a unique, inside look into the rarest pieces from the Bvlgari archives.
