Miu Miu, the rebellious younger sister of high-fashion label Prada, has just launched a game fit for cosy December nights in—their own version of the classic UNO. The Miu Miu x UNO limited-edition set comes on the heels of other special-edition UNO sets created in collaboration with names like Billie Eilish and Formula 1, both of which launched this year. This one, however, is purely for those with deep pockets.

The set includes a full deck of cards featuring sleek graphic art and is housed in a chic flap-snap, calfskin case in a rich cognac/palisander hue. It’s delivered in custom special packaging and the price tag firmly establishes it as a collector’s item—€450 (₹47,603 approx); it’s definitely not something you’d toss around during family game night.

We’ve seen luxury brands dabble with classic games before (hello, Bottega Veneta x Jenga), but now it feels like more are following suit as the rest of us look for analogue ways to connect over the holiday season.

However, the question remains: are you really going to let this beautiful collectible touch the grubby paws of your chocolate-loving niece or that friend with a temper issue? The instructions already stipulate that this version is strictly “intended for an adult audience (aged 14-plus). After all, if the card bends, you’ll be the one who feels like they’ve just been hit with a draw four. This begs the question: are luxury games like these meant to be used or are they just to be displayed on your coffee table? We're wondering which classic game will get the luxury re-brand next. Versace Catan? Hermès Scrabble? Or maybe a Dior Monopoly?
