Zoya’s ‘My Embrace’ collection has always occupied that sweet spot between sentimental and practical—it’s jewellery that slips into your daily uniform rather than waiting for a special occasion. The deceptively simple design—two fluid lines intertwined with each other—has been one of the brand’s signatures for years.
Now, the embrace stretches further. What began as a signature bangle expands into hoops, pendants, rings, and new stackable iterations in rose gold, yellow gold, platinum, and diamonds. The idea is less “save it for later”, more everyday ease. Layer it up. Or don’t. The pieces are engineered for comfort, but also for that subtle everyday theatre of getting dressed.
We caught up with brand ambassador Sonam Kapoor for a quick conversation on everyday diamonds, evolving personal style, and how she’s styling ‘My Embrace’ in this particular chapter of her life.
What did you do yesterday?
What did I do? I’ve literally forgotten. I have mommy brain. My day was very hectic. I just had meetings, meetings, meetings at home and online, and then I picked my son up from school, had lunch with him, had dinner with him, and put him to sleep.
What time did you go to bed?
I usually go to bed by 10 pm. But last night Vayu had a fever, so I was up all night.
How do you like to start your mornings now?
I like to start my mornings by myself. So, I try to wake up a little earlier than my son, who wakes up around 6 or 6:30. My day starts at 5:45 and I have this ridiculous routine. I do oil pulling, brush my teeth, have jeera paani, and then hot water and lemon. After that, I eat soaked nuts and then I wake up my son.
Is this your usual routine or has it changed since you’re expecting?
It’s the same every morning. And then I have coffee 45 minutes after that.
I see you’re wearing the new Zoya collection.
Yes, it’s a collection that’s been around for three years now, and they’ve just evolved it into something more special. I like the fact that it’s so wearable. Actually, I wore all Zoya jewellery and I stacked multiple things to The Nod’s first Book Club event. Coincidentally, I was wearing brown then too. I think brown and gold is...so chic.
